How it all started

I started getting serious about growing my beard in September of 2014.  Once I had some considerable length, my brother told me I should look into beard oils, and beard balms.  He told me about his recent purchase of a starter beard kit, which absorbed ninety dollars of his hard earned money.  I found this amount to be high.  So rather than submitting to the monetary rape that I would endure over and over for as long as the chandelier of awesome hung from my face, I decided to do a bit of research into the beard world.  The short of it is, my ADHD ran rampant, and I became obsessed.  Not like the, “Oh, I decided to buy a bottle of oil and make my own.” More like, “Oh, I decided to purchase hundreds of dollars worth of essential oils, carrier oils, and spend hours researching this new world which was so new and wonderful.”   I geeked out to all the personal benefits the essential oils played in my life. But most of all I found that being an artisan brought me great happiness when I gave away my creations to others. To see and hear the appreciation from others that genuinely love my work is the best feeling anyone could ask for. 

•  I have put off building a site for my little hobby, because I have a dominant priority in my life, which I passionately devote my every waking second to.  nakeebutter.com is my startup which I have brought from a mere idea, to a tangible reality.

• This is a simple store, for simple men whom know what they want.  I enjoy making my bearded brethren smile with feelings of  joy when receiving their beard products.
